The 2013 Statewide Pistachio Day is designed to deliver the latest research-based production practices in a format that enables prospective or current pistachio growers, production managers, and pest control consultants to better achieve their pistachio-growing goals.
The program covers diverse topics ranging from pest, nutrient, and disease management to characteristics of California rootstocks and varieties and incluudes an introduction to the pistachio collection in the USDA germplasm repository.
Early registration fee is $30 and includes all day attendance, lunch and refreshments. Lodging is not included. After Dec. 16, registration fee will increase to $35. On-site registration will be $40.
